Together with his parents, Les and Muriel, Rex Wotton managed the West Coast Watersports center at Coral Reef hotel. It was only a short walk from Settlers Beach. They took hotel guest diving and on sailing tours along the coast. He was an expert seaman trained by the Royal Merchant Navy in all matters of navigation, and marine work. Rex Wotton was just one of the most unforgettable Rogues one would ever meet. His spirit of fun and sharp wit enveloped every situation. Sailing to St. Vincent with a friend at age 11 shows his spirit of adventure. He encouraged all to share his pranks and daredevil acts, making it seem safe, easy, and a joy. Often reckless, he took extreme but calculated risks.
